Symposium Philosophy

This symposium will not resemble a typical academic conference, where certain people present and others listen. Although some participants will present on theory and practice, everyone attending will be a participant, and will be invited on that basis.

 

In general we are seeking participants who are interested in committing to being active members of the InterChange network.

For Module 1 we are also seeking participants who wish to make presentations on each of the thematic areas. These presentations will be the catalysts for intensive large and small group discussions and theory development. We will also be inviting participants to submit background materials and briefing papers which will include not only academic papers, but also activity reports, training exercises, and other resources of interest to participants.
